Several shorter games ran around it: a two-page book at noon and single-game flyers at 12.15pm and 12.25pm, each £1, then a three-page book from 2.50pm to 3.05pm at £2.50.

Mecca Glasgow Quay is at 8 Springfield Quay on Paisley Road, G5 8NP.
It's a well-equipped club on paper: on-site parking, disabled access and a cash machine, a licensed bar with food and drink, a smoking shelter, and jackpot slots and gaming machines alongside the bingo.
Opening is 11.30am from Monday to Friday and on Sunday, with an earlier 11am start on Saturday. It closes at midnight through the week but runs to 1.30am on Sunday — an unusual pattern, and worth noting if you'd assumed Sunday would be the early night.
