Betrino is the quietest brand in this section, and the one whose paperwork took the most untangling. It's a casino and a sportsbook under one account, it advertises itself as having been around since 2013, and it is — like Monster Casino — a ProgressPlay site with all that implies at the cashier.

Who's running it

Betrino is operated by ProgressPlay Limited, licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 39335. The site's own FAQ states it directly: it is "officially licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority" and "also operated by ProgressPlay Limited, which is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission". Its footer is served from ProgressPlay's own white-label content system, which is about as clear a signal of the arrangement as you'll get without reading the register.

The .co.uk address redirects to the .com, so there's only one site here and one operator behind it — worth confirming, because several brands in this corner of the market run two domains under two different licensees.

One claim to take with salt. The site says it has been "catering to betting lovers since 2013". That is the year ProgressPlay's Malta licence was issued, not obviously the year this brand launched. It's the platform's birthday, not necessarily Betrino's.

The regulatory record

The same fact governs every ProgressPlay brand, and it's the most important thing on this page. On 21 August 2025 the Gambling Commission fined ProgressPlay Limited £1,000,000 for anti-money-laundering and social-responsibility failings in breaches dated August 2021 to August 2024, alongside a formal warning and a mandated independent audit of its compliance arrangements. The Commission recorded it as the operator's second enforcement action, after a £175,718 payment in 2022 for failings in the same two areas.

Money in, money out

Betrino's cashier is the ProgressPlay cashier, and we checked its pages rather than assuming: the wording matches its sister brands line for line.

Withdrawals carry a processing fee of 1% up to £3 each. Mastercard withdrawals are not available at all, citing issuer restrictions, and Visa card withdrawals are unavailable in some countries — while Mastercard deposits are perfectly welcome. Deposit with a method that can pay you back out and you side-step the whole problem.

Processing is a stated one business day. Transfer after that is 3–7 business days for debit cards and PayPal, 4–10 for bank transfer, and one business day for Skrill, Neteller and instant bank payment. Payments run through Babaloo Limited, so statements read ProgressPlay or Babaloo rather than Betrino.

An account unused for 12 months becomes dormant and is charged £5 per month, which can reduce the balance to zero, with 30 days' notice and an undertaking to try to return the money first. As with every brand on this platform: withdraw rather than leave a balance idling.

Live chat is 24/7, with email backup, and the site specifically staffs a responsible-gambling team on the same round-the-clock basis via the support tab. That last part is a better-than-average detail — plenty of operators bury account limits behind a weekday queue.

The offers, and the network limit

Betrino runs two separate welcome offers, and they behave differently.

The casino offer is a percentage match on first deposit with a low double-digit wagering multiple applied to bonus bets only, valid for a month, with conversion capped at a fixed cash amount. The verdict

Betrino does nothing badly and little that its sister sites don't.
